Within PON SFIDA Project, NOVOTECH performed several activities as follows:
• Define and evaluate an optimized tone noise/vibration control measures, applied to the cabin of the Alenia Aermacchi NTP Regional A/C.
• Develop a passive device (Dynamic Vibration Absorber – DVA) to reduce the fuselage fundamental vibration frequency. Design, manufacture and test in laboratory about the efficiency of this DVA prototype and provide preliminary specification.
• Analyze and propose concepts of semi-active actuators (Tuned Vibration Absorber), useful also for an alternative ANVC system application and provide a definition of it, including system architecture and specification.
• Perform a preliminary estimation of the achievable cabin comfort level, and relevant design impacts (weight, installation, maintenance, certification, etc.).
