Within the SAIA “Strutture Alari Innovative Aeronautiche” Project, (Program Contract Apulia Region), NOVOTECH has provided a specific contribute to wing design and sizing through the studies for the development of the NGTP (New Generation Turboprop) with highly innovative technologies. All this, in order to seek competitive advantages from both the product point of view and the industrial one. This research Project had the primary objective to develop the conceptual phase and to define the initial characterization of the wing structure design. NOVOTECH performed the study by focusing on a Trade-Off between “all metal” and CFRP Leading Edge configurations.
