Novotech performed a GVT on BS115 Aircraft, to define the modal parameters to be used as in the up-grade process of the dynamic aircraft F.E.M. model. The evaluation of the frequency response functions in several points of the structure correlating each one to the fixed excitation points in order to perform a Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) analysis.
Phase I: Novotech proceeded to determine the elastic modes of the complete aircraft in the three weight configurations with commands and mobile parts blocked/locked.
Phase II: Novotech proceeded to determine, at various excitation levels that take into account the non-linear behaviour, proper frequencies and damping of the mobile parts of the aircraft: aileron, elevator and rudder, with the aircraft fixed on the ground.
